I’m from Japan, and I’ve always had a deep love for the outdoors. Mountains, oceans, and forests—these places inspire me, push me beyond my limits, and remind me just how thrilling life truly is.
I created Action Camera Beginner’s Guide to share that inspiration with the world and help more people experience the unique magic of action cameras and outdoor adventures.
How It Started
In 2023, I began my journey as an outdoor lifestyle blogger, focusing on in-depth reviews of action cameras and outdoor gear. To me, action cameras are more than gadgets — they’re storytelling tools, adventure partners, and memory keepers.
As my content grew, friends Rina encouraged me to expand my reach. That sparked an idea:
What if these reviews could cross language barriers and help outdoor lovers worldwide choose the right camera?
So starting in 2026, I’m officially launching this English blog with Rina — a dedicated space designed to help both beginners and enthusiasts understand action cameras, choose the right gear, and capture their adventures with confidence.

What I Love Doing Outdoors
When I’m not testing cameras, I’m usually out exploring. Some of my favorite experiences include:
- Hiking and mountain climbing challenges
- Building snow shelters and sleeping in them
- Solo backpacking across Europe for two months
- Cycling across Japan while wild camping
- Lighting mountain bonfires under the stars
- Rock climbing (even when it’s a little scary!)
- Traveling alone to discover new landscapes
Outdoor adventures aren’t just hobbies for me — they’re the testing ground where I truly evaluate gear performance in real conditions.
Why I Focus on Action Cameras
I’ve loved photography for years and studied many types of cameras, but action cameras and 360° cameras always felt the most intuitive and exciting to use.
